Recharter Materials

Hello good brethren of the Manila Stake,

Last week during Round Table/Stake Corners there was uncertainty as to when our re-chartering was to be completed. The purpose of this email is to clarify that point, and to encourage you to continue focusing on your re-chartering efforts.

After discussing with the Scout Office, we concluded that it would help a number of Wards if we moved the “Stake Turn-in Meeting” from Thursday Oct 27^th to Thursday Nov 10^th (i.e. 2 extra weeks).

I’ve attached two documents which I hope will help you as you progress through the process of re-chartering for next year.

Our schedule for the “Stake Turn-in Meeting” on Thursday Nov 10^th is as follows:

Location: Our Stake Center

Who: Each Ward at specified time – The primary person who should attend is the person that worked on the data entry (generally the COR or the Scout Committee Chair).  Others to attend to help with the data verification could be the Ward YM presidency.

What: Turning in hard-copy of your four, signed, charter packets.

If your assigned time doesn't work, please coordinate with another ward that can swap times with you.

2017 High Adventure Proposals

As has been done in recent years, each priest and teacher's quorum needs to present their proposal for a high adventure activity to the stake presidency. These are brief presnetations, about 30 minutes, that will allow the young men to explain their priesthood purpose for the activity, approximate costs, and other basic plans. 

A schedule for the presentations is presently being created, but will occur in late October and early November.
