2 Do ONE of the following:
a. Think of a creative way to describe yourself, using, for example, a collage, short story or autobiography, drawing or series of photographs, or a song or skit. Using the aid you created, make a presentation to your counselor about yourself.
b. Choose a concept, product, or service in which you have great confidence. Build a sales plan based on its good points. Try to persuade the counselor to agree with, use, or buy your concept, product or service. After your sales talk, discuss with your counselor how persuasive you were.
4 Interview someone you know fairly well, like, or respect because of his or her position, talent, career or life experiences. Listen actively to learn as much as you can about the person. Then prepare and deliver to your counselor an introduction of the person as though this person were to be a guest speaker, and include reasons why the audience would want to hear this person speak. Show how you would call to invite this person to speak.

President Livingston Invites Woodbadge Participation
From: Scott Livingston
Date: Sat, Oct 31, 2015 at 6:27 PM
Subject: Woodbadge 2016
Each bishopric in our stake is formally assigned to attend Wood Badge sometime in the next year if you have not already attended. As the presidency of the Aaronic Priesthood, this is invaluable training that will impact the lives of countless youth as you implement what you are taught. The link below gives a glimpse into how Wood Badge can impact your work as a bishopric. I also invite all Young Women, Young Men and Primary leaders to also register to attend. If you can't attend our stake-sponsored course, you are encouraged to register for another course being held in 2016. Our vision is simple: We will be a Wood Badge stake, meaning that every leader that should receive this training will receive it.My dear brothers and sisters -Beginning tomorrow, November 1st, our stake-sponsored Wood Badge course will be opening for registration. This course will be held September 15-17 & 22-24, 2016 at Maple Dell. This is a wonderful opportunity to receive some of the most powerful and life-changing training you'll ever receive. Two other stakes will be joining us: Cedar Hills and Cedar Hills West. Spots fill up very quickly.
Our course director will be Brother Curtis O'Reilly, of our stake high council. Sister Livingston and I will both be a part of this course - her as a participant and myself as a troop guide. We have many other fantastic leaders who will be providing the training for all attending.I promise you that as you make the sacrifice required to participate in Wood Badge, you will become a better husband and father, wife and mother, and a more powerful and effective Priesthood leader. You will come to know the Savior more personally. And He will teach you personally, by the power of the Holy Ghost, what He has called you to do and how He will help you to do it. We look forward to seeing you at Wood Badge. Here is the link to register. It will be active tomorrow.

2016 Roundup Dates
2016 Roundup Dates
Here are the dates and assignments for Merit Badge Roundups in 2016. Please let me know which merit badge your ward is going to present and I will add the information to the schedule.
We are trying a different format going forward. Rather than one merit badge each month, we are going to present 4 merit badges three times during the year. We have noticed that most of the boys attending the classes are from the ward presenting the merit badge. We hope that by presenting more badges in one day, and by making them less frequent, we will be able to reach more scouts.
